Despite Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly‘s somewhat turbo relationship, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker will beat them to the aisle. After Barker’s rose-fuelled proposal went unsurprisingly viral yesterday, the actress has weighed in on her friend’s relationship.
“I think they’re just a perfect match for each other because they have a karmic bond with each other,” Fox told E! News. “They are soulmates. They love each other and they have a really intense connection.”
Fox became close with the reality star as MGK and Barker are already longtime friends. They appeared on stage at the VMAs together to introduce their respective beaus and thus sparked pregnancy rumours (read: baby daddy’s). More recently Fox and Kardashian featured in a risqué Skims campaign.
According to reports, Kardashian was completely “thrown off” by the engagement which took place on a rose covered beach in Montecito, California.
“Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic,” an eyewitness described to E! News. “I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised.”
According to Page Six Style, the ring which features a huge oval diamond is estimated to have cost between $500,000 USD and $1,000,000 USD.
“It appears Travis has bought into the Kardashian family philosophy of going big and going flashy with the enormous oval-cut diamond engagement ring he gave to Kourtney. It looks to be larger than 15 carats in a pavé or hidden halo setting,” Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro told the publication.
As for Fox and MGK, there have been several reports suggesting a proposal is imminent. A source told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, “As far as engagement goes, it is likely that this will happen sooner than later and it has been a topic of conversation without question.”
