Since day one, it has been an unofficial race to the aisle between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. While rumours have swirled that the latter could already be married, Fox and Kelly sparked their own this week. And all signs point to an engagement.
According to a source for US Weekly, Fox was wearing a “ring on that special finger” while watching Kelly rehearse for his debut performance at the 2021 MTV VMAs. The insider added there would be a “surprise announcement” during the rapper’s set at the award show. It is fair to assume that Kelly had proposed to the actress.
E! News contacted the Transformers star’s management who confirmed that they were not engaged. Is the couple just having fun with us now (honestly, fair enough). Or did we receive unreliable intel? It’s hard to tell but for now we will have to wait to tune into the VMAs on Sunday, September 12.
Fox and Kelly have been dating since early 2020. It comes after the 35-year-old filed for divorce from her former husband, Brian Austin Green, in November 2020. In April a source for E! News revealed that the she and Kelly would share vows after the divorce was finalised. Surely that is not too far away.
An insider for Entertainment Tonight has also previously said, “MGK would love to start a family with Megan someday, but right now doesn’t seem to be the time in terms of scheduling. As far as engagement goes, it is likely that this will happen sooner than later and it has been a topic of conversation without question.”
She shares three children with Green, Noah, 8, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 4. Kelly has an 11-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker.
