What’s your biggest extravagance? I have a weakness for designer bags and blazers.

Who is your best friend? [Choreographer and dancer] Amanda Deller. We have known each other since we were 12 and she is the D to my Cher.

What’s your biggest regret? The fringe I used to have.

Can you tell us something that would surprise us about you? Probably that I’m not a huge events or party person. I’m more of a homebody. I love to be in my robe sipping tea.

Who or what’s your type? I like someone who is down to earth and funny. Someone I can sit back and laugh with and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.

What’s your best long-haul travel hack? DVD box set so you can get hooked on a show and watch episode after episode. I did it with Revenge.

When’s the last time you were shocked? A few weeks ago. You just never know people sometimes…

What’s the most fun job you’ve ever done? Being the Social Ambassador for the Sensis Marquee [at the Melbourne Cup], which was all things racing, glamour, fashion and performing in such a fun environment.

What’s the most terrifying job you’ve ever done? I had to feed a crocodile for Saturday Disney and I was petrified.

What would you be doing now if you weren’t a performer? Probably teaching singing or working with kids.

What’s the biggest misconception about you or what you do? Everyone thinks it’s all glamour. It involves a lot of hard work.

Best pick up line you’ve ever heard? So many funny ones. Probably the “Did it hurt when you dropped out of heaven” line… I mean, come on?

What’s your best selfie tip? It’s all about good lighting. It can look like a totally different picture if the lighting is bad.

When’s the last time you lost your temper? A few weeks ago.

What could you not live without? My family. We are extremely close.

What’s been your biggest life lesson so far? To not take people and time for granted. I wish I didn’t have to learn that lesson as young as I did. But now I really do try and live by those words.
