On this side of the equator, Australia is proud to claim celebrity stylist Marina Didovich as our own. Perhaps one of our most successful industry names, the 36-year-old freelance fashion stylist and consultant boasts an impressive resume with an array of clients including publications Vogue Italia and Grazia UK as well as A-list celebrities such as Cate Blanchett. Seemingly falling into styling after work experience with Cleo, Fashion Quarterly and She, her now overflowing portfolio is a testament to her talent.
Working on international productions in countries such as America, China, Croatia, India, Italy and Turkey, Didovich is known worldwide, and for one evening, insights into her career will be told during Mercedes Benz Fashion Weekend.
While the annual week of Australian style has kicked off spectacularly, the event that welcomes an exclusive crowd of editors, influencers, stylist and buyers will be open to budding fashion enthusiasts. Across two days at the end of Fashion Week, Carriageworks will house a curated schedule of runway events, workshops and talks with GRAZIA and ICON at the forefront of industry experiences.
Shortly after Runway 1 which will see designer showcases from the likes of AJE, Bec & Bridge and Alice McCall, GRAZIA and ICON will host Marina Didovich in a candid conversation about her career path, styling tips and her favourite moments from MBFWA.
Gain inspiration from her striking style and signature look while picking the stylists’ brain. Over the past four years, we’ve seen designers, models and influencers including Mimi Elashiry, Sarah Ellen, Pia Muelenbeck, Samantha Harris, Cartia Mallan, Fleur Egan, Charlotte Stokes and many more take part.
Earlier in the evening, Rachael D’Alessandro and Tom Simpson of Tales of Man will also appear.
