When Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya walked the red carpet at the 74th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday it proved to be just the start of sartorial fan fare for the cast of Euphoria. Co-star Maude Apatow also attended the HBO Max Emmys afterparty celebrations and was arguably one of the best dressed for the evening.

The actress walked the red carpet, her famous father Judd Apatow closely following,  wearing a slinky corset gown by Vivienne Westwood and diamonds from Cartier. In keeping with a little Hollywood glamour her hair was styled into a sleek bob – one of many iterations from the evening – and bronze smoky eye.

The actress was joined by Sweeney who wore a vampy cutout number from Versace and fellow co-star Zendaya who changed from her incredible black Valentino gown into a red long sleeve gown from the same Italian fashion house. “The 2nd EMMY deserves a 2nd dress”, her stylist Law Roach aptly wrote on social media.

While Apatow was not nominated for an award, Sweeney was honoured with two nominations for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series  category while Zendaya was nominated (and subsequently won) Outstanding Lead Actress for the teen drama.

“My greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people and I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me,” she said in her acceptance speech. “Anyone who has loved a Rue, or feels like they are a Rue, I want you to know that I am so grateful for your stories, and I carry them with me, and I carry them with her.”
