Margot Robbie has officially touched down in Australia for the premiere of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film. And as we’ve seen from the U.S. leg of her press tour, the actress has thoroughly leaned into her Mattel-inspired character in the leadup to the film’s release with an eye-catching array of hot pink outfits.
And with her latest public appearance, it’s clear the actress is well-committed to the Barbiecore cause, arriving in Sydney in one other best looks yet.
On Wednesday, Robbie landed at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport looking every bit the ’90s supermodel with her husband Tom Ackerley. The Barbie heroine wore a chic ensemble made up of a white bandeau crop top, high-waisted khaki trousers cinched in with a black Chanel belt, and a vintage pink tweed relaxed blazer.
Accessories included a mini quilted leather tote and beige and black slingback pumps, both by Chanel, as well as black cat-eye sunglasses. Notably, the actress also carried some very on-theme luggage by Steamline—including a retro Hatbox—that could easily be pictured in a Barbie dreamhouse wardrobe.
The jacket was clearly the pièce de résistance, injecting a fun dose of Barbiecore into the classic look. As shared by her stylist Andrew Mukamal, the outerwear was part of Chanel’s SS1996 collection, originally modelled by Claudia Schiffer in a strikingly similar look to Robbie’s airport attire.
In his Instagram Stories, Mukamal also shared a snap of the actress in another preppy Chanel look, this time a lemon yellow co-ord set reminiscent of Clueless‘ Cher.
Along with Chanel diamond earrings, Robbie wore a gold chain ankle bracelet and a fluffy white Chanel handbag.
Robbi’s makeup artist Pati Dubrof also shared some up-close snaps of the actress’ outfit and fresh makeup look.
