In a past life, before his fame from Emily in Paris and Ticket to Paradise, Lucas Bravo had set his sights on a career in modelling (and with a face like that we’re not surprised). It seems that after his rom-com roles, his modelling career is more alive than ever after he walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week for menswear designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi.

Bravo took the runway for Autumn/Winter 2023 wearing a grey floor-grazing double-breasted coat accompanied by a classic white shirt and grey satin tie. If it feels as if you’ve seen the look before (given the spattered blood and slightly crazed look in his eye) then you’re probably right. Nouchi drew inspiration from the Bret Easton Ellis cult novel American Psycho. Bravo was also joined by fellow actor Stefano Gianino from The White Lotus.

The collection featured an array of sharp suiting, oversized wardrobe essentials like knitwear and outerwear inspired by ’80s silhouettes, while there was also a peppering of silky off-duty looks.

“As always with my collections it’s about dismantling toxic masculinity,” the designer told reporters. “He had to have the perfect body, the perfect life, he was obsessed with killing – he hated women, homosexuals, people with different bodies. And that’s completely the opposite to what we do.”

It’s also the complete opposite of Bravo and his on-screen character Gabriel from Emily in Paris who loves women – he just can’t decide on which one. If you’ve watched season three, you know what I’m talking about.

Speaking to GRAZIA in late 2022, Bravo says he doesn’t feel the pressures of this new-found attention. “I really don’t feel any extra fame or attention. I just feel lucky to have access to more scripts and it really gave me the opportunity to work with people I’ve admired for so long,” he said. “Life is exactly the same. I think life is what you make it and my close group of friends, my family, everything is the same but I do what I love and I’m grateful for it.”
