In a move that would make her supermodel mother proud, after spending the weekend at Glastonbury, Lila Moss went straight from gumboot-wearing festival attire to flying direct to the south of France to appear in Jacquemus’ incredibly chic fashion week show.
Held in the salt-rock mountains of Arles in the south of France, the moment marks the 19-year-old up-and-coming model’s first time walking for Simon Porte Jacquemus. This inclusion only further cements her as one of the next big names in the industry, after multiple runway appearances in recent seasons, including the Fendance show alongside her iconic mother, Kate.
Swapping her festival gear for a beige linen-look two-piece by the French fashion house — the Fall 2022 collection, titled Le Papier, was almost exclusively made up of muted tones of white, beige and brown and was inspired by the designer’s own wedding — Moss looked every bit her supermodel mother’s daughter.
Wearing a pair of high-waisted trousers and a statement off-the-shoulder long-sleeve top, Moss’ look included one large gold hoop earring laden with strands of the same fabric. She wore her hair pulled back off her face and minimal, dewy makeup, while holding a fabric beige Jacquemus bag in one hand and wearing a pair of black strappy sandals on her feet, perfectly finishing off the endless summer vibe.
Present to watch Moss’ Jacquemus debut was none other than Victoria Beckham, who also jetted over from London to support her friend Simon (albeit not missing an opportunity to dress in her own new-season collection: an all-black look that stood out amid a sea of white).
Chic, chic and more chic.
