After sparking rumours by posting similar bucolic photos on Instagram from their respective summer holidays, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalemet are once again feeding the rumour mill thanks to their latest ‘sighting’.
In exclusive images obtained by the Daily Mail, Jenner’s $200,000 Mercedes Maybach was spotted in the concrete driveway of Timothée Chalamet’s Los Angeles mansion—a curved route we’ve come to know so well thanks to this rumoured couple’s penchant for privacy.
Indeed, despite being romantically linked for several months, Chalamet and Jenner have eschewed the classic ‘red carpet romance’ route, in turn, quashing our hopes for a soft launch at Nobu Malibu. Or, even a debut in the car park at In’N’Out, considering the only sightings of the pair so far have been through the veiled tint of their luxury motor vehicle’s windscreen.
According to the gossip publication, Jenner made her way to Chalamet’s reported $11 million Beverly Hills abode after running some errands nearby.
In the exclusive pictures, which you can see here, Jenner could be seen continuing her ‘stealth wealth’ style reign in a pair of denim jeans, a classic white t-shirt and a black tote bag.
Their Los Angeles rendezvous comes after reports that Chalamet had dumped the Kylie Cosmetics founder.
Following the claims of their split, TMZ reported that Jenner and Chalamet are very much still an item and that any news citing otherwise “couldn’t be further from the truth”.
Since being linked back in April, Jenner and Chalamet’s low-profile soft launch has only aided to the mystique around their romance. However, it’s believed a line from Travis Scott’s recently launched “Utopia” album is directed at the new couple, possibly signalling that the relationship is more serious than the tabloids are letting on.
Scott’s song “Meltdown” name-checks Willy Wonka, the fictional chocolatier Chalamet has portrayed in the upcoming Wonka canon prequel. The alleged diss sees Scott reportedly mock the actor, rapping: “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs) / Burn an athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me”.
However, despite Jenner’s ex-boyfriend and father of her two children, Stormi and Aire, allegedly citing Chalamet’s character in a song, fans think the most explicit proof of their relationship came from a series of innocuous Instagram posts.
In carousels shared by both Jenner and Chalamet within days of each other, netizens “deduced” that the couple were still together by posting photos with similar cottagecore aesthetics.
Jenner’s Instagram “dump” included photos from her 26th birthday trip in Italy, while Chalamet also posted several provincial-themed photos from his summer holiday.
We would dismiss this decryption as nothing by tabloid fodder, but given super sleuth’s track record of picking up clues from Jenner’s social media posts (see: that time fans correctly predicted she was pregnant through her nail polish), we’ll be keeping our eye close to the ground on this one.
