When Scott Disick childishly reacted to Kourtney Kardashian kissing boyfriend Travis Barker on a boat in Italy recently, we can only imagine the Poosh owner had a “That’s so embarrassing for your life and your soul” reaction (a response usually reserved for mother Kris Jenner).
Cut to today and Kardashian and Barker are walking the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in Brooklyn – while Disick is possibly nursing a broken heart in Calabasas after splitting from girlfriend Amelia Hamlin.
The star couple – who traversed the streets of Italy for Dolce & Gabbana’s recent hailstorm of a show – were dressed in code rockstar: leather and studs. In an off-the-shoulder, lace-up mini, Kardashian is supporting Barker and his eye-gauging stud shoulders who will perform his new song “Papercuts” with Machine Gun Kelly tonight. (PS. The Table at the AirBnb called and it approves Megan Fox’s naked Mugler dress at the awards tonight.)
The couple happily kissed and giggled for the paparazzi.
As a reminder, a private DM from Disick to Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima was leaked last week whereby the father of Kardashian’s three children made fun of her and Barker’s Italian makeout session. “Yo is this chick OK!???? Broooo, like what is this? In the middle of Italy,” he wrote.
As for Kardashian’s response? “Kourtney is disappointed that he engages in drama when they have been doing well co-parenting,” a source recently told People. “She doesn’t get why he felt the need to reach out to Younes. She will confront him about it. For now, she continues to enjoy her trip with Travis.”
Barker recently reflected on his first flight since surviving a deadly plane crash in 2008. He credited Kardashian as helping him through the trauma.
“It’s still something very new to me, but having something that gives me the strength and hope to be able to overcome things that were so traumatic in my life, it just says a ton,” Barker told Nylon. “She’s definitely that for me. I’m invincible when I’m with her. It’s like I never dreamed, I never even considered flying again.”
Well, he’s definitely flying now.
