This time a year ago, the world couldn’t escape two things: the proliferation of hot Barbie pink and Kendall Jenner’s nascent romance with Bad Bunny. Now, exactly 365 days later, everything and nothing has changed as the supermodel has seemingly reunited with her Puerto Rican rapper boyfriend and, in turn, made us covet the season’s signature hue.
Since being spotted together on subsequent dates, including the Met Gala after party and an intimate night out in Miami, the on-again-off-again couple expedited several relationship milestones following their rekindling. Overnight in Paris, Jenner and Bunny (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) stepped out in matching monochromatic grey outfits for a date night at the whimsical hole-in-the-wall restaurant Ferdi near Place Vendôme.
Editor’s Note: If you’re heading to the French capital, we’d recommend staying at the 1st arrondissement’s luxurious Hôtel Madame Rêve, a mere 20-minute walk from the celebrity-beloved haunt.
Neither has officially confirmed their relationship status, but given the fashion stalwarts chose the City of Love as the location to test couple dressing, it’s safe to assume things are heating up between the pair—notwithstanding the rising heat in time for European Summer. Of course, it wasn’t just their complementary ensembles that piqued our interest, but the shade they decided to wear.

In pictures, which you can see here, Jenner can be seen wearing a slate grey set from Kylie Jenner’s clothing brand Khy. The two-piece set features a cropped top featuring a twisted sleeve detail and low-slung ponte pants. The Latin American musician complimented Jenner’s body-conscious look in a tailored suit sporting the same colourway.
As we observed last year, grey is a shade that has exponentially grown in popularity thanks to our penchant for 90s minimalism, chic corporate staples, stealth wealth and an answer to vivid maximalism à la Valentino Pink PP and ‘Tomato Girl’ shades of red.
Yes, grey might be synonymous with dreary skies, urban concrete jungles and sterile office environments. But, it’s also an understatedly powerful tone featured discerned from Chanel’s Resort ‘25 collection presented in Marseille (which also happens to be the last for outgoing creative director Virginie Viard) to Bec + Bridge’s new season offering shown at Australian Fashion Week.
In fifty shades and beyond—though Jenner and Bunny’s look is a veritable chic cement—grey is the trending colour proving time and time again to be a timeless addition to your wardrobe. Ahead, GRAZIA has rounded up closet essentials rendered in the hue du jour.
