Kanye West and his undying obsession with reuniting with Kim Kardashian has gone from kind of amusing to destructive. In a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked (see below), the rapper alluded to the existence of a second sex tape of his ex wife and Ray J. The first home video was released in 2007 and ultimately launched the Kardashian empire.
Speaking to host Jason Lee, West recalled that Saturday Night Live episode starring the reality star and new beau Pete Davidson before speaking about the Ray J sex tape. “How you gonna bring me to SNL and kiss the dude you dating right in front of me?” West said. “And everybody’s like, ‘Oh, that’s, that’s cool.’ After I went [and] got the laptop from Ray J myself that night, right?”
He added, “I met this man at the airport. Then got on a red eye came back, delivered it to her at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and then I gave it to her and she cried when she saw it.”
Whether West’s claim is a threat or poor attempt at guilt tripping Kardashian, it hasn’t bothered the beauty mogul. A representative for Kardashian released a statement to E! News today, saying, “Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter with focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”
West is currently dating actress Julia Fox after pleading with his ex wife to make amends. Again, Kardashian seems to be unfazed by the hysterics. One source told The Sun earlier this month that the whole relationship is “comical”.
“Kim thinks it’s comical Kanye went from begging her to come back to showcasing his new girl all over the city within days,” the insider said. “She knows it’s not serious and is just typical hijinks from Kanye. Kim thinks it’s another desperate attempt to make her jealous. She honestly doesn’t care, she’s very over him at this point so his little game isn’t working. All she cares about right now involving Kanye is raising their four kids and making sure they have a happy life, that’s it.”
