Past evidence (hello Hailey and Justin) proves that there is just something about London that transforms even the most beachy Californian lovers into a cosy chic couple. Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler are the latest celebrity pairing to tackle the cold this week as they were spotted walking through the British capital on February 14.
According to a source for E! News, their adorable Valentine’s Day plans consisted of coffee (always necessary) and a brisk park walk. “They sat at a table in side across from one another as they waited for their order,” the insider told the outlet. “Austin had his hands across the table and it seemed they may have been holding hands while they waited.”
The source added, “As they walked, Kaia put her arm around Austin’s and held him close.”
Geber paired an oversized tweed coat with wide-legged jeans, Celine knit bucket hat, Celine leather handbag and a dainty Idyl necklace. In perfect couple outfit coordination, Butler opted for a navy coat, grey knit and distressed brown leather boots.
The couple have not addressed their relationship, nor gone Instagram or red carpet official. Instead they’ve been photographed a number of times doing the most normal, mundane tasks – and making it look chic.
In November 2021 Gerber split from Jacob Elordi after 12 months together. One month later she was spotted spending time with Butler and thus sperking a myriad of romance rumours. On the same day it was revealed that Jacob Elordi was spending time with Olivia Jade – it is not known if they’re romantically linked.
The model and Elvis actor received the all-important tick of approval from her supermodel mother, Cindy Crawford shortly after news of the relationship broke.
“They’re newly dating,” an insider told Page Six at the time. “Kaia thinks Austin is a sweetheart. They’re having a lot of fun getting to know each other.” The source also noted that her parents are “supportive of the relationship and only want to see Kaia happy.”
