Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have split after one year of dating. According to reports in US Weekly and In Touch, the 20-year-old American model and 24-year-old Australian actor ended their relationship due to scheduling conflicts and, as a result, not being able to spend much time together.
“There are no hard feelings,” a source told In Touch.
Gerber and Elordi were first spotted having dinner at Nobu in Malibu in September 2020 (Gerber’s parents Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber are often spotted here), and then again holding hands as they strolled the streets of Manhattan after going to the popular Dogpound gym (read: a fitness factory for beautiful people). This same month, the new pair went on a holiday to Los Cabos in Mexico with Gerber’s parents, more than hinting that the relationship was getting serious.
Gerber made the coupling “Instagram official” in October of 2020, posting images of the pair dressed up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley at a Halloween party. That photo has since been removed from Gerber’s account.

While Gerber and Elordi chose to stay very quiet about their burgeoning love, the model did open up to Vogue US in June 2021 about Elordi. “Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don’t want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions,” she said at the time.
“Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone.”
Recently, the couple attended the Met Gala in New York City – and Gerber posted polaroids from her 20th birthday party in September.

Then, came this golden moment at The Academy Of Motion Pictures Opening Gala on September 25.
It was widely reported how much Crawford, Mr Gerber and the model’s friends loved the Euphoria heartthrob, and loved him for their daughter and friend. Breakups are really hard and we hope both Gerber and Elordi are both OK.
