Paris Fashion Week certainly calls upon show attendees to bring the drama. So with all the peacocking of the fashion set and celebrity guests, how does one stand out? For Julia Fox, standing out is ne’er an issue.
In the early morning of March 1st, the Uncut Gems star arrived ready for the Courrèges Fall/Winter 2023 show, braving the winter chill in one heck of an LBD. With shoulders armed in a bodiless leather motorcycle jacket, all eyes were further down on the sheer mesh bodycon dress.
The black maxi dress—that the actress was sans bra or pasties to sport—was complete with a peek-a-boo belly button cutout that showed off a silver statement belly ring piece and paired with pointed-heeled boots with sheer detailing.
No stranger to a headline-grabbing outfit, this 10/10 look comes after a month-long jaunt of traffic-stopping style spotted across the fashion capitals. In Milan, we were served up a bandeau top, and mini skirt look made entirely of belts. New York brought us assless chaps, a poodle dress and, most notably, a 6-foot-tall, life-like “body bag” by designer Mikhael Kale.
While she looked as cool, calm and collected as ever with a grin and sleek shades, she admitted that it’s all in the attitude. “Confidence is funny because nobody knows if it’s real or not,” she said while waiting for the show. “Just don’t overthink it. Nobody cares as much as you think they do.”

Though it’s clear that ‘safe’ has never been in the vocabulary of Fox—who could forget that grocery store trip in the denim blazer and nothing else?—we think she’s well outdone herself. And when it comes to fashion, what fun is safe anyway?
