Like all couples, the 2020 lockdown was testing at times and while Joe Jonas has admitted he and wife Sophie Turner would fight from time to time, the real reason he found the period challenging will make you smile.

Speaking to the Wall Street JournalJonas revealed he “got very into” building Lego with his wife (what else was there to do in lockdown?). But as he got distracted with other things, tensions rose.

“My wife and I probably built 10 monstrous Legos,” Jonas said. “It was also quite funny, because I was super focused on helping her but then I was getting easily distracted and playing Fortnite.”

Jonas admitted they fought over it but reached a suitable compromise. He would provide “support” when called upon and make cocktails so he could play video games. Sounds like an excellent compromise to me.

“She loves her organisation and it’s completely different from the way I would build it: ‘You do you; I’ll be here for support’,” he told the publication.

The duo who are parents to one-year-old daughter, Willa Jonas, celebrated their second wedding anniversary last month. Both stars shared a series of unseen images from their additional wedding ceremony. The gorgeous event was held at the Château de Tourreau in Sarrians in France.

The road to a blissfully happy marriage (or at least what we’re aware of) hasn’t been an easy one for Jonas and Turner. The 25-year-old actress admitted they broke up just before the Las Vegas wedding. Earlier she told Harper’s Bazaar that love is hard work.

“I learned that love isn’t always easy. You have to work at love to enjoy it more. I think like anything, with the career you have, the more you work, the bigger the pay-off and it’s the same with love.”
