Since being crowned Miss Universe in 2004, Jennifer Hawkins has been using her high profile position to make a difference. The 34-year-old has donated to a string of Australian charities including Sydney Cancer Foundation, The Sydney Children’s Hospital, Canteen and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Now Sydney-based Hawkins has teamed up with The Salvation Army as part of the ‘Choose Hope’ Christmas tote bag and spring-clean sale which saw high profile fashion-lovers donate more than 300 pieces of clothing and accessories from their own wardrobes.

Labels on offer from the long-time MYER ambassador’s wardrobe include Toni Maticevski, Sass and Bide, Acne, Victoria Beckham, Missoni, Mulberry, Nike and Alex Perry.

“It’s a privilege to partner with [The Salvation Army] again to help families in need,” says much-lauded style star Hawkins of the initiative designed to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

Each typical week, the Salvos provide refuge for over 100 women affected by domestic violence, more than 17,000 beds for those suffering homelessness and 40,000 meals for the hungry.

“This sale is really fun way to make a difference. Not only can you pick up some designer clothes for a great price, but you can feel good knowing your money is going towards a good cause.”

You can shop Hawkins’ donated pieces HERE from 8pm Saturday July 14 until 8pm Thursday July 19.
