If there is anyone you wouldn’t want to get in the way of, its Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx. Speaking to E! Online’s Daily Pop segment, the 53-year-old has revealed a warning for anyone who tries to date his two daughters, Corrine Foxx, 27 and Annaliese Bishop, 11.
“Your daughters are special man, your daughters are special. And as a father you want that person who is dating your daughter to know that there will quite possibly be a chance that they won’t survive life,” Foxx quipped in a Zoom interview.
The comment comes off the back of his latest television series, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, which will hit Netflix this month. His eldest daughter, Corrine, will serve as executive producer. Talk about a family affair.
Foxx reflected on the first time his daughter started dating, saying, “First of all, I’m a private eye and so by the time she got the person there, I already knew everything about him. This is so surreal, Snoop [Dogg] was at my house. So she brings the guy by, to the crib, and I say, ‘Yo Snoop, there he is right there. Shake him up.'”
Foxx continued, “Snoop walks over to him and says, ‘Aye, what’s up nephew, just seeing what’s going on.’ The dude was solid, he said, ‘I see what’s going on, I’m chill.’ He got a good grade on that.”
This latest project follows Foxx’s heart-wrenching performance in Just Mercy.

The tale follows the same vein as Steve Harvey’s interview with Ellen Degeneres, where he admitted he tried not to like his daughter Lori’s new boyfriend (and Sexiest Man Alive I might add), Michael B Jordan.
“I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go — ’cause I don’t got rid of all of ’em. All of ’em,” Harvey said. “Some of them snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to.”
“But this guy, is such a good guy, man. He is one of the nicest guys. I’ve met his father. I’ve sat up with him, we’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him!”
