Ah, yes. The ol’ working-from-home conundrum. Do I stay in my pj’s ALL day and never-ever leave my bed (except for water and toilet which even seems hard) so much so I create a sinkhole in my mattress? Do I put on my spiffiest suit and set up a home desk complete with one fragrance, a dog-eared notepad, Mentos, deodorant and drinking bird in a bid to produce Pulitzer Prize-worthy work? OR am I that person and doll myself from the torso up and continue to tout my much beloved but frankly questionable underwear below? As reported earlier in the week, the working-from-home wardrobe is treacherous territory to navigate and in turn reveals a lot about both your style personality and your own personality. But sitting somewhere in the middle of tatty flannels and The Row Pre Fall 2020 is a robe.
Yes, what you might think a humble, if not banal, bed garment bound to hospital stays and visits from nana has in fact had a stylish revamp over the last few years and now exists as a fashion force unto itself.
