Good morning and welcome to your livestream destination for Dior Spring/Summer 2023. On September 27 at 3pm local time (or 11pm AEST) the French fashion house will unveil a new collection. The runway will return to the brand’s home in Paris after recent seasons have seen the House travel to Seoul and Spain.
Dior has released two short teasers of the forthcoming collection to social media. In collaboration with the National Library of France – Bibliothèque nationale France – one video explores the discipline of maps. “Maps were not an independent discipline,” a woman says. “It was a discipline that existed to serve history.”
In another cryptic teaser video, viewers explore the details of work by artist Eva Jospin. While little is known about the highly-anticipated unveiling, it’s clear that creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri will hero home. Stay tuned for a post-runway report.
