When the stage lights are turned down and the cameras are away, Harry Styles is proving he is still incredibly wholesome behind closed doors. Overnight he reportedly gifted Lizzo with a huge bouquet of flowers as her boppy single “About Damn Time” – an anthem to 2022 – charted to No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week.
We wouldn’t have known anything about the gesture if it weren’t for TikTok. Lizzo took to the social media platform holding up the flowers saying, “Thanks for the flowers, Harry.” In the caption she wrote, “Yall harry got me flowers congratulating me on about damn time going #1.”

It was also well received by fans who commented on the video in droves. One user wrote, “bffs that slay together stay together”. Another added, “WE NEED A HARRY AND LIZZO SONG.” We could not agree more.
The pair struck up a friendship after Styles covered the singer’s track “Juice” for a virtual performance on the BBC1 Radio Live Lounge in late 2019. Just two months later and they practically broke the internet when Styles took to the stage for Lizzo’s live set at the Fillmore in Miami Beach to perform the same hit song.
Oh, and we can’t forget their surprise live rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” at Coachella in April. The pair walked the maze-like stage at the annual music festival in billowing pink faux fur coats as fans screamed from the sand-covered floor.
It’s of course not the first time Styles has been just the ultimate sweetheart. There was of course that time he volunteered to be a dog sitter in New York City, while his 2022 Love On Tour has been packed with special moments including the evening her agreed to host a couple’s gender reveal.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. We don’t deserve this man.
