British actress Emma Corrin has been everywhere this week thanks to season four of The Crown finally dropping on Netflix. In the series, Corrin plays the show’s most highly-anticipated character: Princess Diana. With her perfect accent and immaculate wardrobe mirroring exactly what Diana wore before and during the early years of her marriage, Corrin’s depiction of the People’s Princess is already being dubbed the best yet.

Corrin is quickly becoming 2020’s biggest It girl, which means she’ll soon be brushing shoulders with Hollywood elites (with the presumption events will eventually return). But in a new interview, the 24-year-old revealed she’s already tight with the man everyone wants to know: Harry Styles. In fact, they’re so close that one time the musician looked after her dog, Spencer – named after Diana – for her.

“[Harry] once dog sat for me,” Corrin told Jimmy Fallon in a teaser clip of his upcoming show shared to YouTube. “I was having dinner and know where he lives, and he looked after Spencer for me.”

But it was a one-time gig, and Emma has a pretty good idea as to why, telling Fallon “He hasn’t done it again and I think it’s because, halfway through the meal, I got a message that just said, ‘He won’t stop farting. Is this normal?'”

Though pretty much every woman and gay man – and straight man? – would pay good money to be petted by Styles, Corrin loves that her dog was none the wiser to the musician’s charm. “The thing I love about this is that also my dog has no idea, which is I think the wonderful thing about it,” she said. “That for a dog, it’s just a person.”

Of course, this isn’t Styles’ first time looking after a dog. Earlier this year, a man’s Twitter post went viral when he shared a photo of the singer looking after his puppy outside of a restaurant while he popped inside to grab his takeaway.

“I was outside a restaurant in Hollywood trying to pick up my take out order but couldn’t go in because I was with my puppy,” he wrote on Twitter. “Harry Styles saw my predicament, tapped me on the shoulder and said he could watch Oscar while I went in. What a guy,” he wrote on Twitter at the time.

Looks like it’s time for me to buy a dog and walk the streets of Hampstead Heath.
