Gigi Hadid has been keeping mum about her relationship with Bradley Cooper. But ahead of the grand return of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, the model made some rare public comments about her famous boyfriend.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the live-streamed runway, Hadid acknowledged Cooper’s absence from the front row, explaining to the outlet that the A Star Is Born actor would cheer her on from home.
“He’s watching from home tonight,” Hadid said when asked if Cooper, 49, would be in the crowd, noting his daughter comes first. “He is on dad duty, but so supportive.”
It makes sense that Cooper, who shares seven-year-old daughter Lea with his ex, Irina Shayk, would be on dad duty, as Shayk was also on the star-studded runway.
Shayk last donned her VS Angel wings in 2016 when she walked the show for the first time.
In an interesting twist, it was technically Lea’s first show, too, as the model was pregnant with her at the time.
When asked what her daughter thinks of her modelling legacy, she didn’t mince words.
“I don’t know, you should probably one day ask her,” she told ET.
“[The] last time I walked [a] Victoria’s Secret Show, I was four-five months pregnant, so here we go. I’m back,” she added. “My daughter probably will [be] watching it later.”
Shayk and Cooper began dating in early 2015, fresh from their respective breakups with Suki Waterhouse and Cristiano Ronaldo. The two welcomed their daughter together in March 2017. It’s not known when exactly Cooper and the Guest In Residence founder struck up their romance, but they were first pictured on a date night in October 2023.
Multiple sources have claimed that the pair met through friends and bonded over raising young girls while in the public eye, as Hadid also co-parents her daughter, Khai, 4, with ex Zayn Malik.
