The Australian summer is almost upon us. In a moment, we’ll be out of our snug Maison Margiela Tabis and into a strappy heel for the party season. Long, cosy coats will be replaced with light, flowing midis. Taylor Swift will be in town (and hopefully Hollywood’s great actors and writers off that picket line in time for award season). And, if the NYFW runways of Spring/Summer 2024 have reminded us of anything (read: Gabriela Hearst, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren) it’s that even at our most glamorous, summer skin should always be kept bare; dewy, radiant, glowing in its natural state.

As brands begin the slow release of their spring/summer capsules, our editors have begun their summer wishlists—a collection of covetable pieces that will stylishly elevate those warm summer nights. Ahead, a twist on the signet ring, another twist on a silk maxi, and a serum to have your skin “runway radiant”.summer editThe Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Revealing Serum $55 SHOP NOW

This affordable, vegan, radiance-reviving Vitamin C formulation is the superhero serum you need for dull-to-glowing skin this summer. Pop a few drops onto freshly cleansed skin in the morning for an immediate dewy glow. It’s worth noting, too, that The Body Shop has (impressively) long held close trade relationships with countries around the world through their Community Fair Trade Program. This means they give local artisans a fair price for their labour and offer them predictable incomes and thus financial independence. Also, by the end of this year, all of the company’s products will contain no animal-derived ingredients.
