Today marks the second event on the awards season trail. Following the Golden Globes last week, focus moves to the 26th Critics Choice Awards. Hosted by Taye Diggs, the socially-distant event was brimming with stunning looks and glitching Zoom videos but nonetheless, the awards ceremony didn’t fall short on celebrating the very best performances in film and television.

As expected, The Crown led the nominations list with six nods to the Netflix series and What We Do in the Shadows, Lovecraft Country, Mrs. America and Schitt’s Creek close behind with five nominations. Of note, Zendaya was honoured with the ‘SeeHer’ award this evening (an apt win on the eve of International Women’s Day) while the late-Chadwick Boseman was in the running for a posthumous award for Best Actor.

Unlike past ceremonies, the livestream was short and sweet albeit, we still miss the red carpet. Catch up on the winners of the 26th Critics Choice Awards below.
