While fashion journalists and influencers were still reeling (and uploading) post Dion Lee show on Sunday at the Opera House, day two of MBFWA saw the hype transported to Carriageworks and with it the usual street-styler suspects. They of course were there to get the first iPhone shot of Thomas Puttick’s ethically-engaged Resort wear (as worn by Yvonne Tozzi), Bianca Spender’s lunar-inspired accessories, and snap up a piece of Sass & Bide’s collection as the brand embraced the see-now-buy-now model.

Australian/Kiwi-come-international model Georgia Fowler was looking fresh post Etihad Airways flight to Sydney (she was seated in The First Apartment, a space in the sky so luxurious, you can stand up and walk around even after closing the privacy doors. It’s flying reimagined.) “Etihad flew me back here in an apartment on the plane,” Fowler said. “It was quite special, I landed very fresh.” The 24-year-old was spotted on the old Eveleigh Rail Yards in a Bally suit, Stella McCartney tee and loafers.

Known as #RunwayToRunway the Etihad initiative offers frequent fashion travellers access to a unique loyalty program, one that supports international travel requirements such as special rate airfares, lounge access, complimentary upgrades, priority boarding and, of course, additional checked baggage. Go here for more details.
