Cut-outs and baby bumps aren’t a combination we often see, even on the red carpet when bold risks are the only way to stand out in a sea of couture. But as Suki Waterhouse so gracefully demonstrated at the 75th annual Primetime Emmys Awards, it’s a match made in heaven.
The musician and actor, whose TV series Daisy Jones & The Six was nominated for the ‘Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series’ award, arrived in style at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater following the awards ceremony’s four-month-long delay due to last year’s SAG-AFTRA strikes.
For the star-studded affair, Waterhouse, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Robert Pattinson, looked breathtaking in a bright red gown from Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture collection.
The scarlet-hued ensemble boasted a dramatic drop waist silhouette with a voluminous skirt and a large bow that sat below her belly button. When she turned to the side, the 32-year-old showed off the look’s backless feature and ample ‘side bump’ viewing.
Waterhouse didn’t hold back on the sparkle for accessories, adorning herself in diamond earrings, two tennis bracelets, and a collection of platinum and diamond by Tiffany & Co.
She kept her signature balayage hair out and tousled and opted for a retro eyeliner look with blushed lips.
Having announced her pregnancy on stage at the Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City in November when she could no longer hide her burgeoning bump, the singer is reportedly due to give birth very soon.
