New York Fashion Week’s Autumn/Winter 2023 season is officially underway, which means that despite the subzero temperatures currently hitting the city, the A-list are out hitting the streets, shows and after parties — and showing their skin in the process. All in the name of fashion, of course.
One such figure is Emily Ratajkowski, who attended Cult Gaia’s party celebrating the opening of the brand’s flagship store in Soho. For the occasion, the model, podcaster and best-selling author wore a black sheer ankle-skimming Cult Gaia dress, featuring a floral pattern made out of sequins and glass bugle beads.
Ratajkowski, whose one-year-old son recently made his modelling debut, paired the statement gown, which is currently still available to shop on the brand’s website, with a pair of simple black sandals and a beaded, feather-embellished bag, wearing her hair pulled back into a bun with her side bangs on show.
The next night, Ratajkowski backed it up, heading to an event to celebrate Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb scent in New York, this time making her hair the focus of her look.
In photos of her heading into the party, Ratajkowksi is seen wearing her signature straight brunette hair in big, bouncy curls. The ’70s-inspired glossy and thick curls were completed with a matching two-piece set, made up of a black collared crop top with long sleeves and sequined stripes and matching high-waisted trousers, that complemented her hair’s vibe.
Those who are too online will (sadly) know that this marks the second time in a week that Ratajkowski has played with her hair, following her Pulp Fiction-inspired micro-bob moment at Marc Jacobs.
Of course, she added curtain bangs following her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard last year, and even gave herself an at-home haircut on TikTok, too. Could a colour change be next?
I’m not going to lie, I’d be here for an Em Rata red moment.
