Jumping on the white bathroom mirror selfie (yesterday Kendall Jenner brought you her version of bikini cowgirl in an all-white bathroom), the model and activist posed in a pair of vintage washed denim jeans and a cardigan – well, a very, very shrunken version of one.
In lightweight grey marle, Ratajkowski left all the top buttons of the cardi undone, showing off a simple gold snake chain, with the cropped cardi exposing her midriff.

Remember, Emily Ratajkowski sells sexy very well. So well, she contrived an entire brand dedicated to her dangerous curves, or more broadly speaking, the female form and how it empowers women. Tired of old myths about body image, Inamorata Woman set out to embrace the full spectrum of femininity with a range of easy, body-conscious essentials that hug all your beautiful womanly bits extra tight.
She proved that over the weekend, wearing a black strapless bodycon dress from the range while walking in Manhattan – but with a decidedly cool – and safe – spin: a pair of white sneakers, orange top-handle tote and a mask.
Sexy is just what she does – and very, very well. Even when it comes to the humble cardi, which, for the record, is having a major resurgence. We recently brought you our Fab Five featuring five glorious iterations of the modern-day cardigan. Now, more than ever, we’re seeking creature comforts, and the cardi is basically the fashion equivalent of the warm-n-fuzzies (maybe not Ratajkowski’s version, but the bigger sized versions). It’s also a staple of the ’90s revival; with every It-girl from Kendall Jenner to Bella Hadid peddling a neo-nostalgic version of a cardigan, some seemingly straight from grandma’s closest but with a decidedly nineties kick – à la Em Rata.
But if you’re game for a sexy take on cardi styling, wear your shrunken cardi layered over singlet top or similar. Or, if you’re Emily Ratajkowski, wear nothing at all.
