Fashion has long flirted with the cowboy, ahem cowgirl, trend. There’s been countless iterations of Western-style boots, belts, shirts and of course, hats, the distinct dress of the “Old West” making its way to the highest of fashion circles. Perhaps the most iconic code of a cowboy / cowgirl outfit is the cowboy hat, however, and it seems Kendall Jenner is keen to make it a thing again.
Posting a series of sultry shots to Instagram, the model posed in the mirror of an all-white bathroom in nothing but a skimpy paisley bikini and ta-da…a cowboy hat. With a cryptic caption – just the avocado emoji, strange indeed – a very tanned-looking Kendall Jenner showed off her money-maker – her body – while categorically debunking the classic fashion etiquette of removing your hat whilst indoors.
Often associated with bad – even crude – taste, Jenner’s raw raffia take is anything but, rather a cute addition to her bikini look.

While it’s well and truly winter in the Southern Hemisphere, those up north are always a step ahead of us when it comes to fashion trends, so perhaps a cowgirl hat is the accessory to saddle up in come summer – pending pandemic lockdowns, of course.
