The actress didn’t appear out of the ordinary as she joined her Oppenheimer cast mates Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Florence Pugh at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ 14th annual ceremony in Hollywood. For the occasion, Blunt donned a sculptural body-conscious black Miu Miu gown featuring a plunging neckline and an anatomical crystal spine motif choker detail.
The display comes only two days after the 81st Golden Globe Awards, where she and The Office alumni were filmed inaudibly discussing an important matter on the red carpet. The Hollywood heavyweights, who share two daughters, piqued the interest of the internet after supposed lip readers came forward to allege Krasinski mentioned the word “divorce” while speaking to his wife.

Of course, this moment has become catnip for social media’s “stan” culture, despite the pair repeatedly engaging in public displays of affection throughout the evening. Blunt even wore Krasinski’s suit jacket during the ceremony! The comedic duo have even weighed in on the reports, with a source from their camp revealing to the press how hilarious they find the rumours.
“There are no issues with Emily and John,” the insider noted. “They are absolutely not talking about divorce,” they added. “They think the rumours are funny and ridiculous.”
Speaking on her relationship with the actor-turned-director, The Devil Wears Prada star offered: “Having John’s support is everything because we are each other’s confidant. That shared understanding has been a very vital anchor for me.”
Given the couple survived the toxic summer of breakups back in 2023, we’d also wager that this couple is far from filing any divorce paperwork any time soon. But given this is a Hollywood relationship we’re discussing, bracing yourself for a plot twist might be a sensible idea, too.
