Dua Lipa has been on the fast-track to style icon status since the arrival of her much-celebrated Future Nostalgia album earlier this year. In addition to the impressive feat of generating hype and hit singles throughout a global pandemic that prevents touring and the usual promo trail, the singer has also established herself as a fashionable force to be reckoned with.
Now, after a series of style turns that saw the star channel everyone from the late Princess Diana to Clueless‘ Cher Horowitz, it seems Lipa has found a firm favourite footwear choice in her Prada Cloudbust Thunder sneakers. She’s been pictured sporting the chunky shoes on a number of occasions and we’ve now been entirely won over.
It appears Lipa’s love affair with Prada’s stompy sneaker began sometime in July, when she first stepped out in a black pair of the mesh-and-rubber trainers. Like all torrid affairs, the relationship accelerated swiftly, with Lipa soon moving the shoe out of the casual daytime date category and into an evening slot – often accompanied by her actual boyfriend, Anwar Hadid.
