Dua Lipa may have just confirmed a budding romance with a new suitor.
The pair ignited rumours when they were spotted dancing at an afterparty for the premiere of his show Masters of The Air. Lipa, 28, presumably attended the event to support Turner, 33, who stars in the Apple TV+ series alongside Austin Butler, Sawyer Spielberg, Barry Keoghan, and Lauren McQueen, as the pop star had no other affiliation to the project.
In a video released by TMZ, Lipa wrapped her arms around Turner’s neck as they enjoyed a brief slow dance, sparking speculation they’re an item. What could’ve just been a friendly jig between mates was quickly confirmed to be more, as a source then told Page Six that they were indeed dating.
“It’s new, but they’re mad about each other,” the insider told the outlet. “She was at the premiere to support him.”
On January 14, the new couple again stepped out together for Turner’s Q&A event at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California.
Even though it’s still early days, and the two haven’t engaged in any PDA, Lipa and Turner must be quite into each other if the singer is happy to show up and support him at his public events.
As well as Masters of the Air, which is produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, Turner, who has modelled for Burberry in the past, also stars in George Clooney’s latest film, The Boys in the Boat.
The British actor’s last known relationship was with actress Vanessa Kirby, whom he dated for roughly four years before the two split up in 2020.
Meanwhile, Lipa most recently dated French film director Romain Gavras, 42, with news of their split only circulating the news cycle a month ago.
