Dua Lipa‘s loved-up beau and brother to Gigi and Bella Hadid, Anwar Hadid has celebrated his 22nd birthday this week. To honour the occasion the “Future Nostalgia” artist threw the model a birthday party which of course was entirely documented on social media. On Instagram stories, Lipa led her boyfriend into a room full of people where they surprised Hadid.
Held at Chateau Marmont – a hotel notorious for celebrity hangouts – a room was filled with golden balloons and a banner that spelt our “ANWAR”. The images were captured by director and photographer Rony Alwin.
The first image in a rolodex of happy snaps shows a PDA-fuelled photo of Hadid and Lipa. The singer paired a silver midi dress – reminiscent to her Grammys look – with an adorable bow clutch.
Later in the evening Hadid was presented with not one, but two birthday cakes. In attendance were the likes of pop stars Tove Lo and Charli XCX, songwriter Mustafa, makeup artist Lilly Keys, Grammy-winning songwriter Sarah Hudson and actor and rap star, Jaden Smith.
Lipa was all of us following a big night out and took to Instagram stories following the party to reveal a pimple on her forehead (celebs are really like us after all).
Prior to the surprise party, the 25-year-old posted the sweetest tribute for Hadid’s birthday. Along with a series of sweet photos, Lipa honoured her beau in the caption.
“Happy Birthday Baby @anwarspc 🫀another lap around the sun ~ you make my world so much better!! I’m lucky to love you and be loved by you,” she wrote. “DEXTER IS SO LUCKY TOO N LOVES U SO MUCH!!! can’t wait to celebrate youuuu today 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂”
The couple linked up back in late-2019 and made their public debut at New York and London Fashion Week. Ever since, the duo have been icons in couple dressing. We stan.
