When the world went into lockdown, Cindy Crawford came to the rescue – at least in my circle of friends.

In April, the supermodel posted a very quarantine friendly throwback ab workout video to her Instagram. The now-54-year-old was seen crunching her way through a core workout on a New York City rooftop. It’s six minutes – and it absolutely burns. (Oh, and Crawford is so fast at the changes, newbies may have trouble keeping up!)

And so, my girlfriends and I – some in Sydney in Australia, others in New York City in America – set ourselves a challenge. We would wake up and do the core-burner every day; 10 regular crunches, 10 full sit-ups, 10 roll-ups and 10 jack-knives, three times through. And honestly, it worked.

Crawford then released another at-home workout, this time focusing on arms. And yes, we tacked this seven-minute and 47 second routine onto our abs. In summary, Cindy Crawford has been keeping me doing something active everyday of lockdown.

“Have you done Cindy today?” is a common ask on my WhatsApp thread with my friends.

Today, Crawford posted another workout to her Instagram. Titled “Card Lunges”, I have to say it’s super strange and involves doing squats while picking up a three of clubs. It was something she says she did after having her son Presley.

“Even though I love Solitaire, let’s put those playing cards to good use!,” wrote Crawford on her Instagram video. “Try these Card Lunges and squats that @kathykaehler taught me when I was trying to get back into shape after having my first kid — kind of like losing quarantine weight!”

While the aforementioned videos were all broken up with the model in a white leotard on an Manhattan rooftop, this one seems to be a transportation to a beach in Malibu – and will require a pair of trainers.

While I don’t think I’ll be adding this one onto my daily Cindy workout, it’s a cute little two-minute, 25 demo to perhaps accompany a set of dumbbells. When you’re done, try Crawford’s famous smoothie.
