In the midst of an extremely messy divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has reportedly been dating in secret. Rumours of Pitt dating a “Swedish singer” have been circulating on Instagram gossip account @deuxmoi for sometime now with a source for The Sun confirming that is in fact, Lykke Li.
According to reports, the pair grew close in 2021 as they live just minutes from each other in Los Angeles. It is part of the reason why they were able to “fly under the radar”. “It’s worked out perfectly for Brad, to have someone he likes living so close, so he can be under the radar,” an insider told the publication.
The couple were last spotted in public at an Italian restaurant, Mother Wolf, in Hollywood.
Abroad, Li is perhaps best known for her single “Possibility” which starred in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The singer shares one son, Dion, 5, with musician Jeff Bhasker. The pop star divorced Bhasker in 2021. As for Pitt, he was last connected to German model Nicole Poturalski. They met at a party in Berlin in 2019 after the premiere of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. They split sometime around mid-2020.
From all evidence, it seems the 58-year-old actor is doing ok in light of his divorce settlement with Jolie. In March 2021, the actress accused Pitt of domestic violence citing that she and her six children were willing to provide “proof and authority in support” of the claims. It follows nasty 2016 allegations of child abuse which Pitt was later cleared of.
The custody battle – where Pitt is asking for 50/50 time with the children – is ongoing.
