Billie Eilish is celebrating her 21st birthday the only way she knows how – on the stage. At the weekend the “Happier Than Ever” singer was joined by her parents, brother Finneas and new beau Jesse Rutherford at a sold-out concert in California on Friday where she was surprised with a birthday cake.

According to a report from People she blew out the candles on stage at her final Hometown Encore show and hugged her parents. “Want to take shots? Give me two days,” Eilish joked. “I am 21 in two days, it’s f**king unbelievable.”

She was later joined by longtime collaborator Khalid (the duo wrote the hit “lovely” together) while Childish Gambino was given the stage for a rare performance.

The festivities continued on Saturday evening when she was photographed sitting in a sleigh at The Edition – a luxury hotel – in West Hollywood. The following evening Eilish was joined by a star-studded guest list for her official 21st birthday soirée. The evening was holiday themed and featured a photo booth with the likes of Avril Lavigne, Doja Cat, Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber.

Kendall Jenner also attended and shared a series of happy snaps to Instagram stories.

Last month the 21-year-old was forced to address the almost 11-year age gap between herself and Rutherford after they garnered controversy. In an interview with Vanity Fair the singer assured fans that she’s “in control right now”.

She added, “I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f**king f**ker alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me? I pulled his ass! All me! I did that s**t! I locked that motherf**ker down!”
