Hailey Baldwin follows Anne Hathaway as the new global face of Bolon Eyewear

For someone who makes a lot of headlines – particularly post news of her soon-to-be Mrs Bieber status – we don’t often hear Hollywood royalty Hailey Baldwin speak. That’s why this behind-the-scenes ‘piece to camera’ she did on while on set for the Spring/Summer 2018 Bolon Eyewear campaign is especially fascinating. What does she sound like? Are her opinions as strong as her cheekbones?

Born into Hollywood royalty – the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and niece of Alec – the 21-year-old has also cemented herself as a key player in the modern-day equivalent of the Brat Pack, a model squad that includes her friends Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

That said, she’s built a legit name for herself as a model over the past several years too, having walked in dozens of fashion week shows including Victoria’s Secret and fronted campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Topshop, Adidas, French Connection, Zadig and Voltaire and GUESS. The latter happened after Baldwin and Paul Marciano had a chance meeting in an LA chiropractor’s waiting room. “She has a great personality so we connected immediately and decided to work together,” the GUESS founder has told GRAZIA at the time.

Now, budding style icon Baldwin follows in the footsteps of actress Anne Hathaway, who was previously the face of the Italian-made Bolon Eyewear, which specialises in luxury-look sunglasses and opticals that are high fashion at accessible prices.

The 21-year-old’s introduction to the Bolon fray couldn’t have come at a better time for both parties. Not only does she wear optical glasses herself, making her an organic partner, but her currency with the cashed-up, fashion-forward millennial market has never been so high. The fact the statuesque blonde looks spectacular in each of the campaign images, shown in the gallery above, is a hard plus.

“I really love the collection,” Baldwin says of the sunglasses range. “I like how wide the range is, their styles are geared towards different people.

“It is something that I would wear in my daily life, it suits my fashion street style.”

News of her campaign also coincides with the brand’s expansion into Australian retail store giant David Jones, guaranteeing it next level prominence and prestige in time for the Aussie summer. Prices range from $189 to $209 from selected David Jones stores, David Jones online and The Iconic.
