Once again we’re coming to you with some not so great news from the Adele camp. According a source for the New York Daily Newsher relationship with NBA agent Rich Paul is on shaky ground. The singer cancelled her highly-anticipated Las Vegas residency this which is believed to be collateral damage.

“There’s trouble in paradise. That’s why she can’t perform,” the insider told the tabloid. It is reported that she interrupted rehearsals to take calls and has been seen bursting into tears. Adele and Paul began dating in early 2021 before going Instagram official in September. It was her first public relationship since the divorce from Simon Konecki which was finalised last March. Of course this is only speculation so stay tuned for updates.

The three-month long schedule of live shows was slated to take place at Caesar’s Palace from last week. According to Adele, delays in shipments and COVID-19 infections throughout her team meant the concerts could not run as planned.

“We’ve been awake for 30 hours trying to figure it out,” she told fans in an emotional Instagram video. “I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m sorry to people who have travelled again. I’m really, really sorry.”

A source for The Sun has also revealed that the “Easy On Me” artist pulled out of a live performance for the Brit Awards on February 8. “Adele was confirmed to perform on the night, but has now pulled out, which has been a massive blow for the organisers,” the insider said.

“They are talking to her team to see if she can appear by videolink. It’s a massive headache but they want her involved in any way she will agree. They also now have to find someone to accept her awards, should she win. And several big names have already said no,” the source added.

According to the outlet, the likes of Sam Smith, Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran have been asked to accept any awards on her behalf.

More to come.
