At the moment, my fashion week moodboard is looking something like this:
The Bomb.
Fashion’s current favourite jacket is set to get a serious airing on the front row this season. The bomber jacket ticks so many boxes on my sartorial list – lightweight and easy to thrown on over any outfit, off duty and effortless, and a cool way to try the athleisure trend while still keeping things chic. Plus, bombers give a nod to the military pilot style and I love me a Top Gun reference. Now where are my aviators?!

Pop Art.
Turning heads in pops of colour – I’ll leave it to the fashion editors to rock monochrome and neutrals on the front row and go canary yellow for the day. By keeping things simple underneath (note the nude bag and black tights and boots) these colour pops look refined rather than garish. And with May renowned for its temperamental weather in Sydney – I’m currently on the search for a stylish fash week umbrella – my colour fest is just the thing to brighten a dull grey day.

Boy Meets Girl.
This look is all about the tomboy vibes and loose layers. The boyfriend jeans and sporty top are my take on androgyny, while the chunky heel, ankles out and topknot give a nice feminine contrast. And did I mention this ensemble is super comfy, especially for packed days dashing between parades? Win win, let’s hear it for the boys.
