Awards season is officially underway, kicking off with the 2026 Critics Choice Awards. Held once again at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, the ceremony marks the first major red carpet of the year, setting the tone for the Golden Globes and Oscars that will follow suit.
With Chelsea Handler returning as host for her fourth stint, the evening’s awards could hint at further wins in the upcoming months, as well as, of course, the fashion to come.
From Sinners and One Battle After Another to Hamnet, Frankenstein and Marty Supreme, this year’s nominees span sweeping literary adaptations, bold original screenplays and blockbuster spectacles, cementing a year of incredible performances. Guests for the evening include Chase Infiniti, Mia Goth, Amanda Seyfried, Teyana Taylor, Elle Fanning, and Ariana Grande, who are all up for awards and bringing a distinct sartorial case for best dressed.
