Shia LaBeouf is expecting his first child with on-again off-again partner, Mia Goth. The English actress was photographed overnight with her bump on display as she ran errands in Pasadena, California.
The couple met in 2012 and married in 2016. They split in 2018. A rep for LaBeouf explained at the time, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
Goth and LaBeouf sparked rumours of reconciliation in April 2020 when the Honey Boy actor was spotted wearing a wedding band while Goth was also photographed with a diamond ring and a wedding band. The rekindled romance didn’t seem to last too long as he was seen kissing actress Margaret Qualley later that year.
His fling with the Maid star was extremely short lived after he was accused of sexual assault and battery by former girlfriend, FKA Twigs. The singer filed a lawsuit against LaBeouf to the Los Angeles Supreme Court in December 2020 before speaking to the New York Times where she detailed the “relentless abuse”.
“The whole time I was with him, I could have bought myself a business-flight plane ticket back to my four-storey townhouse in Hackney. He brought me so low, below myself, that the idea of leaving him and having to work myself back up just seemed impossible,” she said at the time.
Qualley shared a later magazine cover of FKA Twigs on her Instagram page followed by the caption, “Thank you”. She later explained the move to Harper’s Bazaar, saying, “It was important to me for her to know that I believe her and it’s as simple as that.”
The court case against the actor is ongoing. Last November, it was agreed between both LaBeouf and Twigs to pause the lawsuit and postpone the next court hearing until May 2, 2022 as he prepares for the arrival of his baby with Goth.
