Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans appear to be taking shape. And according to a new report, the couple may be saying “I do” much closer to home than originally expected.
Months after rumours first circulated that they would wed in Rhode Island, the US Sun now confirms Swift is transforming her sprawling seaside mansion into a full-scale garden venue for the big day.
The report states that Swift, 35, is planning a brand-new garden on the property in the lead-up to the event and is prepared to spend $1.2 million USD on landscaping, including gardeners, specialists, and additional security to keep details under wraps. While the couple briefly considered a ceremony in Italy, the privacy and flexibility of her own home is said to offer far more control over the celebration.
Spread across five acres, the estate—which she acquired in 2013—has become known for hosting the singer’s famous 4th of July parties. It includes a private beach and offers panoramic views of Little Narragansett Bay and the Watch Hill Lighthouse.

Much like their engagement setting, the vision for the space centres on flowers. Swift reportedly wants red roses, hydrangeas, orchids and peonies planted months in advance. One insider described the desired effect as “a wave of flowers,” with white, purple and pink orchids; blue, white and pink hydrangeas; and peonies in pink, white and red. She also plans to gift all invited girlfriends a bouquet of red eternity roses.
“Taylor dreams of being fully surrounded by flowers… making her teenage dream of marrying in a sea of flowers come true,” the source added.
The update follows other recent hints about the couple’s nuptials, with Swift, who got engaged to Kelce, 36, in August after two years of dating, reportedly choosing Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid as bridesmaids. And while no official date has been announced, one source previously claimed the pair is planning a summer wedding, with Swift eager to start a family.
