Earlier this month, Chanel presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection during a grand show that marked a return to its home at the Grand Palais. Converged under the iconic glass dome, where many of its ready-to-wear collections have previously debuted, was a packed front row of industry icons and A-list celebrities. Among those? Icelandic singer Laufey .
Rising to fame after stints on Iceland’s Got Talent and The Voice , the 25-year-old artist has quickly become a playlist favorite and budding fashion darling. During Paris Fashion Week , she stamped another milestone of success when she attended her first international fashion show.
For her first front-row experience, the musician was dressed in a house signature: a tweed skirt suit. The mint green set even featured embroidered florals and an ethereal ruffled tulle collar. She accessorised with a white quilted mini bag with a gold chain strap and black pumps with a pink bow affixed to the vamps.
Below, Chanel takes GRAZIA behind the scenes of the look.

Starting off with some skin prep, makeup artist Lili Choi slathered the musician’s skin in Sublimage La Crème Texture Suprême for a smooth and hydrated base.
To highlight Laufey’s complexion, Choi kept coverage light, reaching for Ultra Le Teint (in BD11) to give the skin a dewy glow before dabbing her cheeks with Joues Contraste in Intense Rose Ardent for a healthy blush.

On the eyes, a combination of Signature de Chanel in N°10 Noir was used to create a subtle winged tip. Choi then went in with Le Volume de Chanel in N°10 Noir to lengthen lashes, keeping brows on the natural side with a touch of Stylo Sourcils Haute Précision in N°158 Brun Profond.
The look was completed with 31 Le Rouge Matte Lipstick in N°13 Rouge Jersey , a terracotta hue that perfectly complimented the green of her outfit and the copper tones of her hair.
And, in true Gabrielle Coco Chanel fashion, one must never leave the house without a spritz. For the special occasion, Laufey opted for the Twist & Spray on chain N°5 EDP to head to out the door.
