Kylie Jenner has announced the most exciting item to be stocked in her upcoming online store kyliejennershop.com – a 2017 calendar with photos of Kylie, all shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson.

Kylie shared photos of the calendar’s front and back imagery on Instagram, showing her in typical Terry Richardson sexualized style: she wears lingerie and a crown on the cover, and a black bra and underwear with a snake draped across her in the other.

A sneak peek of another shot on Kylie’s Snapchat shows her in fishnet stockings and a T-shirt that reads “please insert money” with $100 bills floating above her.

A dedicated calendar – shot by Terry Richardson, no less – and in fact the entire Kylie merchandise store launching on December 10, is just another sign that Kylie has been appointed to lead the charge in the family business after Kim Kardashian’s decision to withdraw from public life indefinitely.

Kylie’s Instagram follower number continues to climb steadily towards surpassing Kim, while her sisters Kendall, Kourtney and Khloe trail millions behind and have basically flatlined for some time. Kylie is easily the most active member of the family online, indicating that sharing her life with the public comes very naturally to her. And at the age of 19, she might be better placed to connect with a younger audience than the others – not to mention, more willing.

Kim Kardashian has not updated her accounts or attended a public event in two months since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, and now with husband Kanye’s sudden mental health breakdown, it remains unclear if she has any intention to return to the spotlight.
