In recent days Katy Perry has been vocal about wanting to reconcile with long-time enemy Taylor Swift – she refused to fire up after Taylor stole her thunder by releasing her back catalogue of music on Spotify the same day Katy’s new album came out, and said in an interview she is “ready to let it go … absolutely, 100 percent.”

Continuing on that theme, at a concert to conclude her multi-day live-streaming event on Wednesday, Perry changed a line of Swish Swisha song that appears to be her response to Taylor’s diss track about her, Bad Blood.

She normally sings “don’t you come for me”, but at the live performance she changed it to “God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl”.

It mirrors a comment she made in her US Today interview this week:

“All I need to say to [Taylor Swift] is I love her and God bless her on her journey.”

It is nice to see Perry, 32, take the high road in the long feud with Swift, 27. And although it would be the feel-good story we all need right now to see them make peace, we have to admit we’d sort of miss the distraction and drama of their petty feud.

But even if Katy and Taylor do make amends, there’ll be no shortage of drama in Hollywood. There’s still Taylor’s feud with Kanye West. And Taylor’s beef with John Mayer. And Taylor versus Calvin Harris. Noticing a common thread here?
