The video for Kanye West’s new track “Famous” is as controversial as the song itself, and nobody knows that more than the rapper.

After unveiling the video at a showing in LA and dropping it exclusively on Tidal, Kanye took to Twitter to tempt someone – anyone – to sue him over the work, before deleting the update a few hours later.

West’s take on Vincent Desiderio’s 2008 painting Sleep shows him naked in bed with 11 other celebrities who are also nude – Taylor Swift, who he’s engaged in a feud with over her mention in the song, as well as wife Kim Kardashian, George W Bush, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Kim’s ex and former sex tape co-star Ray J, Kanye’s ex Amber Rose, Kim’s stepparent Caitlyn Jenner and disgraced actor Bill Cosby.

Aside from a few that obviously didn’t pose nude (like Taylor), it’s not known which, if any personalities might’ve agreed to strip off and which have been digitally created.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, West refused to explain this element of the video in detail, although he did some shed light on the meaning behind it.

“It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]” he said. “It’s a comment on fame.”

So far Chris Brown has reacted to his inclusion via an Instagram post, and an aide for former president Bush told Us Weekly “That’s not him”.

The most anticipated reaction of all will be Swift’s, after she blatantly denied giving her approval to be referred to as a b*tch in the song lyrics, despite Kanye’s insistence she did – and that he has footage proving the conversation took place. According to Kanye’s tweet she hasn’t filed a lawsuit against him yet, but she might just be gathering her ammunition.
