Her scheduled headlining gig at Coachella is on the rocks, but Beyonce will reportedly perform at the Grammys this month.

Entertainment Tonight reports that Bey, who yesterday spectacularly revealed she is expecting twins, is in rehearsals for a surprise show at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on February 12.

It’s not surprising that the soon-to-be mother of three would attend on the night, given she’s nominated for a whopping nine awards, the most of any artist. But performing at what looks like three or four months pregnant? That’s impressive.

It wouldn’t be the first time she’s taken to the stage while pregnant. Beyonce revealed she was expecting Blue Ivy after singing “Love On Top” at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, unbuttoning her blazer and rubbing her belly at the end.

The news comes as the internet is still ablaze with excitement over the announcement she and Jay Z, already parents to five-year-old Blue Ivy, will welcome twins this year. Not only did she make the announcement with a stunning photo of herself in lingerie and a veil surrounded by flowers, but the next day she dropped an entire photoshoot of images that pay tribute to the pregnant female form on Beyonce.com.

There was already excitement building for this year’s Grammy awards after the news that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd might make their public debut as a couple. But that seems sort of underwhelming after all this, doesn’t it? That’s the Beyonce effect.
