If you haven’t noticed by now, something has shifted in Meghan Markle’s approach to dressing. While she’s always been an adherent of quiet luxury, the Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with stylist Jamie Mizrahi has helped introduce new labels in her lexicon and further elevate her silhouettes in line with her entrepreneurial era.
So, it’s only fitting for the 43-year-old to end the year in one of her go-to brands, the Sydney-born brand POSSE.
The former senior royal stepped out for another solo outing in West Hollywood to celebrate the baby shower of her friend, Soho House’s chief membership officer Samantha Stone. (As you may recall, the exclusive members club played a crucial role in Markle’s relationship with her husband, Prince Harry, with the couple choosing the Dean Street Townhouse venue in London as the location of their first date.)

According to sources, guests were requested to dress in pink. Not often a colour we see Markle in, the mother-of-two looked effortlessly regal in a flax linen midi. See the photos for yourself, here.
The calf-grazing style, not too dissimilar to the colour of Selena Gomez’s engagement manicure, featured a square-cut neckline and thick straps that provided some structure to the otherwise understated silhouette. Though the style is only available in a sweet white and chic black hue, it’s currently on sale, making it the perfect pre-Christmas present. (Make sure you shop it while you still can!)
Markle first made her affection for POSSE apparent when she stepped out at Italian hotspot, Tre Lune, in Montecito, California for her 42nd birthday. The style was a streamline strapless maxi featuring black-and-white stripes and became an immediate sell-out following Markle’s endorsement.

Though she hasn’t been on Australian soil since 2018, it’s apparent the homegrown designs have a place in her heart—and closet!
