Meghan Markle spent the third day of her Colombia tour providing a rare update about her daughter, Princess Lilibet. The American Riviera Orchard founder and Prince Harry have spent time in Bogotá after accepting the invite of Vice President Francia Márquez. During their visit, they immersed themselves in local customs, frequented nearby schools and participated in the Responsible Digital Future summit.
On their final day, while speaking on a panel on the topic of ‘Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voices of Equity’, the Suits alumni opened up about her parenting style and the pride she has for the toddler. “I find inspiration in the strong women around me, of course my mother being one of them,” Markle began, referencing her mum Doria Ragland.
“So much of how I approach things is less about the fight, and more about how do we show up in a space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity,” she continued “Those are the elements that inspire me. I know how it feels when you don’t utilise your voice when you need to be heard or have something to say.”
She noted that this principle is embedded into how she and Prince Harry raise their children. “I encourage our daughter to do so—who, at three, has absolutely found her voice, and we are so proud of that,” she concluded.

Markle had also recently commented on her son, Prince Archie 5, and daughter during a sit-down interview with CBS. While discussing their new venture, a support system targeted at guardians of children lost to online bullying called the Parents Network, Markle called their children “amazing”.
“Our kids are young. They’re three and five, they’re amazing, but all you wanna do as parents is protect them,” she said. “So, as we can see what’s happening in the online space, we know that there’s a lot of work to be done there and we’re just happy to be able to be a part of change for good.”
A royal author and memoirist alleged that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “big plans” to begin ingratiating the young royals into their working schedule. “Meghan said to be ‘acutely aware’ of how this could look for their Sussex brand,” The Mirror reported “The charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave, especially now that they are so determined to be billionaire entrepreneurs.”
